Session 2: Building Confidence & Playing the Game Now that you’ve mastered the basics, it’s time to go beyond the setup and start really playing Mahjong! In this session, we’ll kick things off with a quick recap of what you learned in Session 1 to make sure everyone feels comfortable and confident. Then we’ll dive deeper into how the game actually flows—focusing on how to recognize and build different types of hands, make strategic decisions, and keep up with the pace of play. You’ll begin to connect the dots between the tiles, the card, and your strategy, all while getting plenty of hands-on practice. We’ll guide you through real gameplay scenarios, answer questions as they come up, and help you start thinking like a Mahjong player. By the end of this class, you’ll feel more confident reading the card, selecting your hand, and staying engaged from the first tile to the final call.
